Biography
As an applications engineer, Tim Girardi is no stranger to hi-tech or complex designs. He spent much of his career designing explosion-proof electrical enclosures, as well as pumps and mechanical actuators for the aerospace industry. During his time in the aerospace industry, Tim designed the emergency brake actuator for the Gulf Stream G650 twin-engine business jet and significantly improved helicopter control longevity for the U.S. military. Tim has spent time on the consumer side as well, working with OEMs to enhance small and large appliance designs for plastic injection molding.
Tim approaches his role at System Seals by using design as a bridge between the goals of his customers and manufacturability. He believes in strong communication to approach problems differently and overcome challenges. Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cleveland State University.
